My Journey with Money Blocks
One of the biggest money blocks I have had to overcome is my ability to feel comfortable making a lot of money. It even feels a little weird typing it. I know that might sound strange to most, but it was an actual block I had to deal with, or I would've stayed STUCK.
I felt a misalignment with my faith and earning ‘too much’ money.
Growing up, I read in Mark 10:25 that Jesus says, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God."
Talk about internal conflict! Thank goodness I have a better understanding, and I know the true meaning of the verse. But I want to share my personal mindset block with which some of you may relate.
Aligning Faith and Finances
Because I had misunderstood what it meant, I thought, "I don’t want to be that person who couldn't get into the Kingdom of God because I had too much money." I mean, my work now is to help others become financially free in 3-7 years (or show them how they can be “Rich” if that is their goal), and I make a great living myself in the process. How do they go together? What was I going to do?
On one hand, having a lot of money does not drive me; it is not what I consider the most important thing in life. Life is not about "things" for me. It's about having options.
On the other hand, I am an avid believer that you should earn as much as possible because there is plenty!
Shifting Perspectives and Finding Balance
Since I had these seemingly contradicting views, I prayed about it, and as God is prone to do, He sent me someone who spoke His truth. She reminded me that if I weren’t making the money that I was, I wouldn’t be in the position to take the time off to volunteer where I was needed. And, if I made more money and could think beyond just myself and my financial needs, I could be truly altruistic and give more time and money to the causes that are so close to my heart.
"The more you make, the more you can help", she told me. That was the resounding message. I'm so glad she helped me see things differently. That is a mindset block that I am so glad I am no longer dealing with.
Overcoming Money Blocks for a Better Tomorrow
Since it's no longer an issue for me, I get to watch my clients' lives change and continue showing others how they don't have to struggle with money. They learn the truth about our financial system, which we are not taught about on purpose. They learn that they have money mindset blocks because they don't know what they don't know. The government keeps us in the dark regarding finances. If real financial education were mandated in school, people would know they don't have to work 45+ years to have maybe enough to retire. I know it sounds shady, and it is.
All the info is there for anyone, but it is written in jargon that few people understand or even bother trying. Why? Because, as I always say, the less we know, the more $$$ they make.
Empowering Wealth Through Knowledge
It makes me feel good to help others have access to the knowledge and options I have found to help me achieve financial freedom. I teach non-traditional strategies so my clients can earn money just like the banks do. Earn more by putting the money they already have to work for them, not them having to work 24/7 for it, and especially not having to work for 45+ years to maybe have enough to retire. And do you know what I've noticed? The more money people are making and keeping because of our growth and tax strategies, the more they are giving. It's exactly like my friend said. Not only am I able to be more altruistic, but so are my clients. I am constantly opening Charitable LLCs, Donor-Advised Funds and strategizing with my clients on how they can donate more money to their favorite charities. This is the work of my God.

However, mindset blocks are keeping many people paralyzed.

I am soooo thankful for no longer having to deal with this internal conflict because now I get to work when I want and do what I want when I want, just because I want to. Did I say WANT enough? lol, I get to help wherever I want now, not just with money but also my time. Don't let your money mindset blocks keep you from doing what you want!
I get to do some of the other great things because of letting go of that specific MINDSET BLOCK. I volunteer to help the less fortunate, like the beautiful orphan children in Kenya and other 3rd world countries I visit. This is what lights up my heart. They are so beautiful. I volunteer in the rainforests of Indonesia with my favorite animal, the endangered orangutan. They are going extinct because of GREED- GREED and love of money is the problem, not having too much money.
